Raw Peanuts

Raw Peanuts

Product Information

Peanuts are a very good source of monounsaturated fats, the type of fat that is emphasised in a heart-healthy diet. Peanuts are a good source of vitamin E, niacin, foliate, protein and manganese. Sprinkle peanuts on to a tossed salad, add to healthy sauteed chicken and vegetables, or blend in a food processor for fresh salt free, sugar free peanut butter.

Cooking Tips

Because of their high fat content nuts can become rancid quite quickly. Thus store nuts in a cool dry place or in the fridge or even in the freezer.

Recipe Idea

Enjoy a small serving of peanuts as a snack. Peanuts can be added to carrot and pineapple salad or coleslaw for an interesting flavour and texture.
