Polenta

Polenta

Product Information

Polenta is a popular food dish with a long history in Italian and other European cuisine. Essentially it is a yellow maize meal that is cooked with water like porridge and can be used as a base for toppings, such as sauces, cheeses, vegetables, and meat. Much the same way that pasta can be left in a refrigerator to set overnight when refrigerated polenta will harden into a dough-like texture, it can then be cut into squares and baked or grilled into delicious toast like fingers.
